RAPS Fights Economic Euthanasia

Media reports highlight the heartbreaking plight of families forced to make life-and-death decisions based on ability to pay.

RAPS continues to advocate for more affordable veterinary care. CTV News is covering the plight on economic euthanasia and how RAPS is preventing people from having to make life-and-death decisions about their pets based on ability to pay.

Linnea Wolfe was in just that unbearable position recently. RAPS helped her ensure that her cat, Bagheera, got the surgery he needed and he is now back home and soaking up the love.

But countless animals are not so lucky.

We are fighting to make this problem one that fewer families need to confront by calling on the federal government to make veterinary care tax-deductible. (Sign the petition here!) We’re also calling on corporations and benefits providers to help!
