New faces: Meet Dr. Connor

We’ve got new (human) faces at RAPS Animal Hospital and we’re introducing them to you! This week, meet Dr. Connor Ward, one of the newest veterinarians to join the community-owned hospital’s team!

Dr. Connor has a passion for small animal medicine, which he has honed in practice working in Scotland and England before moving to British Columbia. He believes strongly in the importance of building a trusting doctor-client relationship, and communication is of foremost importance to him. When he’s not helping save and improve the lives of animals, Dr. Connor is keeping busy canoeing, snowboarding, swimming, open-water diving, mountaineering, or trail-running with a canine companion. He also has a brown belt in Kodokan Judo, and played men’s football with the University of Glasgow Vet School. In the evenings, he’s at home spending time with his cat Crunch, a rescue from the RAPS shelter.
