Volunteer of the Month: Alexis Laughlin

Everything RAPS does is for the animals. But it’s all possible because of a small army of the most extraordinary humans!

This month, we celebrate one of the best!

Alexis Laughlin has been volunteering at the RAPS Cat Sanctuary for about seven months.

“I love animals and wanted to do my part to help out!” she says.

Her favourite part of volunteering is getting to spend time with and playing with the cats, something she stays around to do after superbly completing her cleaning chores! She always asks the Adoption Centre staff if there is anything she can help them with, too.

She doesn’t want to play favourites, but …

“It’s hard to pick favourites since they are all such great animals, but one of my favourites has to be Smoothies! He one of our new kittens, and he’s such a sweetheart!” Alexis says.
