Volunteer of the Month: Nadine Smith-Breton

Nadine Smith-Breton volunteers at the RAPS Adoption Centre once a week, where she cleans the adoption room, where our kitties who are ready for adoption are housed until they find their forever homes. In addition to cleaning the cages and common area in the room efficiently and meticulously, Nadine makes time for cuddles and loving with the cats and kittens. They adore her gentle way.

She also volunteers once a week at the RAPS Animal Hospital, where she does surface cleaning and laundry. She loves the energy and dynamic environment at the hospital and watching the medical team go above and beyond to give our patients the very best care.

Nadine is extremely pleasant, dedicated and reliable and takes her volunteer duties seriously.

“I decided to volunteer at RAPS so I could spend some time with the kitties, since I can’t own my own,” says Nadine. “Volunteering is a great way to feel like you’re giving back.”

Thanks Nadine! And congratulations on being our Volunteer of the Month!
