RAPS Thrift Stores Auction and 50% Off Sale
We’ve saved up the best stuff from the entire year and are offering it to the public on Saturday, December 11.
The RAPS Thrift Stores are holding a one-day bonanza event Saturday, December 11. This includes a hybrid live in-person/online auction, followed by a massive 50% off sale.
Able Auctions are overseeing the auction, which will take place outdoors, under a tent, at the Francis Road RAPS Thrift Store (9040 Francis Road in Richmond, intersection of Francis & Garden City).
There are well more than 100 lots of items representing a vast range of artwork, collectibles, memorabilia and more. High-end watches, electric bikes, jewelry, statuary, purses and wallets, musical instruments … the list goes on and on. Most of these items are contents from mobile storage units that were donated to RAPS. The choicest finds have been assembled throughout the year and the most desirable items are being offered in this auction.
Lots can be previewed online only. Click here. To bid online, registration is required – and if you have not participated in an online Able Auction in the past, you must register by 4 p.m. Friday, December 10.
The auction begins at 11 a.m. To bid online, registration is required – and if you have not participated in an online Able Auction in the past, you must register by 4 p.m. Friday, December 10. The auction will also be recorded for the RAPS-based reality TV show set to air in the new year!
After the auction (probably at 12:30 or 1 p.m.) the store will open for a massive 50% off sale. The store will be stocked with better-than-our-usually-awesome stuff! These items are also higher-end finds from the same sources … amazing stuff that we do not usually see in thrift stores but that we opted not to include in the auction.
Because of pandemic-related limitations, admission to the store will be limited, first, to those who attended the auction live, then to those who register by Friday via email to admin@rapsbc.com and then the general public – all with limited numbers to ensure safe distancing.
This is an extravaganza that no self-respecting thrifter should miss out on! And 100% of revenue goes directly into programs that save and improve the lives of animals!
