Charlie is our Volunteer of the Month for June!
We are thrilled to honor Charlie for his incredible eight years of volunteering at the RAPS Animal Shelter. Charlie, accompanied by Deb, volunteers with the bunnies and small animals and is – paws down! – one of the best bunny cuddlers we have ever seen! During his shift, Charlie gives the bunnies and small animals the gentlest hugs and special attention. The small critters absolutely love Charlie and relax completely in his arms.
Charlie chose to volunteer at the RAPS Animal Shelter because of RAPS’ no-kill promise. As beneficial as his interactions are with the bunnies and small animals in our care, Charlie too finds great comfort and relaxation in making the little critters feel completely at ease and loved.
His mom says Charlie feels productive when he volunteers at RAPS, and cuddling animals is one of his strong skill sets.
Volunteering at RAPS gives Charlie a special sense of accomplishment and pride. He is definitely an asset to our volunteer team.
