RAPS Volunteer of the Month – December 2018
Meet Hanbe Lee, RAPS Cat Sanctuary
Hanbe Lee, from Seoul, South Korea, contacted us to inquire about volunteering at the RAPS Cat Sanctuary in early November.
She had just completed her studies in Vancouver and was very excited to spend the month before she returns to Korea helping with the cats. She has been volunteering four days a week and we couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing young woman.
In Seoul, Hanbe completed her Master’s in Zoology and worked closely with many kind of birds. She has such a love of the Sanctuary cats and an enthusiastic, “game for anything!” attitude.
While she loves all of the cats, Honey Bear has won over Hanbe’s heart.
The Sanctuary staff and volunteers alike love having Hanbe as part of the Sanctuary team – she is a great help and a very sweet person. We will be sad to say goodbye to Hanbe when she returns home, but are so grateful for the amazing volunteer she has been.
