RAPS AGM and Volunteer Recognition, July 18th

Join us for AGM and Volunteer Appreciation Event, Wednesday, July 18th at
Thompson Community Centre, 5151 Granville Avenue, Richmond, BC

RAPS’ Annual General Meeting takes place July 18 … a short business meeting followed by the always-fun annual celebration of the people who make everything possible for the animals: VOLUNTEERS!

We’ll celebrate all volunteers and acknowledge a few extraordinary individuals, all while enjoying plenty of food, refreshments and fun.

This is a great time to kick back, socialize with others we don’t always get to see (or who are too busy cleaning litter boxes or walking dogs to stop for a long chat) and celebrate being a part of an organization that saves and improves the lives of animals.

Here are the details:

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE NOMINATED OR NOMINATE SOMEONE FOR THE BOARD?
The RAPS Board is a working Board. Every member of the Board is either a member of the Executive Committee, is a liaison to a branch of the organization’s operations or sits on at least one committee. We seek committed volunteers with diverse skill sets to help lead the organization in this time of exciting growth and change. New Board members are nominated to serve one-year terms. Incumbent Board members are nominated for two-year terms.

Nominations to the Board are vetted by a selection committee for specific roles and duties that need filling on the Board. Approved nominees will be presented for election by the membership at the AGM.

To nominate yourself or another individual, please email for further details.
