Is RAPS on your Christmas list?

Are you making your Christmas lists?

The RAPS City of Richmond Animal Shelter has a wish list. There are a few items — from the small, very affordable to the rather more grandiose — that we are hoping some animal-loving person or organization will be able to help us with this holiday season.

Our dogs need some Martingale collars, size medium, as well as flat and leather collars in all sizes.51xPoxHQo6L._SL500_AC_SS350_

We are also looking for top-loading cat carriers, alligator clips for the cages, baby bibs for syringe feeding and Nature’s Miracle No More Marking cleaning solution. Another thing that the cats really love are rice-filled heated beanbags with reversible washable covers, which help keep the kitties warm when the temperature drops.

(And sometimes even the tame ones just don’t know the strength of their own claws and teeth!)

The big item on our list this year is a washer and dryer that can help us keep up with the incredible demand for laundry in the Shelter. If you or someone you know is in the wholesale or retail appliance business, we would be so grateful if you would introduce us and let them know about the good work RAPS does for the animals.

Anything you can do to help us obtain any or all of these items will allow us to reallocate the funds that we would have spent to do more good for more animals. As you know, RAPS does small miracles on small budgets and by helping us with our wish list, you are making sure that we are able to do the best we can possible for the animals in our care.

Of course … cash donations are also gratefully accepted at the holiday season and all year ’round.

When you give… They live.

Thank you and happy holidays.
