Rescue Rescue – Fourth

Long-time cat rescuer and RAPS volunteer Stephanie, was searching for an escaped cat to no avail when she received a call from a friend that a cat had been found. To her surprise, the cat found was not the escapee but instead little Fourth.

Fourth was named after the date of his rescue, July 4th. Three kittens, about three weeks old, were discovered not far away. It seems Fourth is a daddy.

The kittens were immediately placed into foster care and have all now been adopted, while Fourth was brought to the Richmond City Shelter. We believe that beautiful Fourth was dumped, and are very thankful he was found by our amazing volunteers as there are many coyotes in the area. He lives because you give!

Fourth is now available for adoption at the City Shelter. He has striking green eyes and the most adorable expression. Fourth came to us as a feral cat but we believe he is well worth the time and effort to tame, as he has made excellent progress with us so far!

If you are interested in adopting Fourth please contact the shelter at info@rapsbc.com
