Support the RAPS Thrift Store

Our Thrift Store has many hidden gems – but the most valuable of all are our volunteers! Find out what is in store for you and how you can support the animals of RAPS by donating, shopping or volunteering.

Volunteers are vital to every aspect of our organization and are treasured by the people and animal of RAPS.

April 23 to 29 is National Volunteer week! If you are looking for a meaningful and fulfilling way to spend a few hours a week, please consider the RAPS Thrift Store as an opportunity.

Speaking of treasures … are you downsizing or moving? Closets bulging with things you no longer need?
The RAPS Thrift Store needs your donations. This spring, the Thrift Store is especially looking for:

  • Small household appliances
  • Shoes
  • Clothing & Jewelry
  • Paintings & Antiques
  • Bags and purses
  • Clocks, craft items, candles
  • Vintage and collectibles
  • Musical instruments, records
  • Pet items
  • And much more!

When you donate to RAPS Thrift Store YOU make a difference. You help fund vaccinations and other veterinary care, food, shelter and so much more.

RAPS is dedicated to operating a 100% NO-KILL Animal Shelter and we operate a Cat Sanctuary that helps save the lives of hundreds of cats who are deemed unadoptable. We bring in cats from all communities and every penny earned at the Thrift Store goes towards providing a warm bed and a full belly for our four-footed friends.

We make it easy!  Drop off your clean and gently used items Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 8260 Granville Avenue, Richmond (just east of Number 3 Road). Parking and drop-off are at the rear of the store for your convenience

Due to space limitations, we are unable to take large furniture items. If you have any questions please call the store at (604) 244-7529 for information on donating or volunteering.

Donations and volunteers are essential to our continued success and we can’t do it without you.

Happy shopping and thank you!
