RAPS Maintenance Work

The Richmond Animal Shelter is undergoing facility maintenance work: Friday, September 23 – Monday, October 10, 2016

We are ensuring that the shelter remains safe, healthy, tidy and clean for the animals.

Animal control throughout the City of Richmond will continue uninterrupted during this period.

We will remain open as usual for:
• Surrenders, by appointment, of ALL animals
• Adoption of dogs and small animals
• Purchase of Jake & Daisy pet foods

The shelter will be temporarily unable to offer cat adoptions during this closure.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
