Johnny

Adoption News!

As a 10 year old cat in 2011 Johnny found himself at RAPS as a stray. He languished in the shelter for over 3 years before finding a home. Unfortunately, due to no fault of his own, Johnny came back to the shelter this April. At 16 years old we were sure that Johnny was going to be a candidate for the Sanctuary. We were proven wrong, however, by one of our dedicated Animal Care Attendants and her wonderful family who all fell in love with this handsome senior. Johnny will now live out his twilight years in comfort and surrounded by love.

Here’s what they have to say about this special cat:

“Johnny is a beautiful 16 year old boy who needed a home to call his own for his senior years. He has found all the comfy places to sleep, sunny spots to perch, boxes and baskets to pop into, and toys for brief play times. He loves to snuggle and be close to us. He brings us joy and laughter and love every day. Thank you to the Richmond Animal Protection Society for our precious new family member.”
