This April 1st, there’s something happening in Steveston that will put a smile on everyone’s face – and we’re not fooling!
Menchie’s, the frozen yogurt phenomenon, opens its doors on April Fools Day. But friends of RAPs already got to taste a sneak preview – and in the process raised $630 to support the animals!
Owners Elliott, Ozzie, Ken and Jessica hosted a special preview event in support of RAPS. Elliot and Ozzie have previously adopted two dogs from RAPS — Charlie and Cola.
Hundreds of people showed up, helping spread the word about Menchie’s and also learning about RAPS. Yogurt was given away free, with optional donations dedicated 100% to RAPS.
